PROJECTS

At the moment we have 3 projects open.

From Korbis Agri we want to be completely transparent and we will inform you about the projects, the budgets they need, the campaigns that are carried out in order to be able to reach these budgets and the money sent in order to realize them.

We encourage you to visit the projects one by one and if you are interested in a specific one and want to collaborate, contact us by emailkorbisagri@gmail.com  or by whatsApp 655252097.

POULTRY FARM MANAGED BY WOMEN

During the meetings held with the women of the cooperative, the conclusion was reached and they expressed their desire to set up a chicken farm.

KORBIS AGRI will make the first investment and from there they will manage the project.

It would start with the purchase of 300 hens for fattening and 200 layers.

With the profits they would expand until reaching 1000 chickens.

There will be a training course taught by a local veterinarian.

The facilities that KORBIS AGRI already has will be fixed and a refrigerator will be bought to be able to keep the meat once the chickens have been slaughtered and cleaned.

YOUTH AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE

The agricultural cooperative's project is designed to improve the nutrition of families through the immediate consumption of the crops but also with a surplus that allows them extra income for the economies of these families.

The NGO has 4 hectares ready to cultivate, but it will start by conditioning 1 hectare to see how it works.

Currently there is a well and 4 tanks that distribute water throughout the land.

Those in charge of the land and the cultivation would be the young people advised by an agronomist and they would have the collaboration of the women in the sale and distribution of the surplus. The profits would be reinvested in the expansion and sustainability of the operation.

WIDOWS PROJECTS – SECOND CHANCE

The widows showed a lot of concern for their situation and the future of their children, especially the young women who have all their children in school and cannot help them by working.

Baja Kunda is a town that has a lot of emigration and concentrated in Spain, but especially in Premià de Mar (Barcelona) this community is organized and they have some import businesses. Every month, month and a half, containers are sent and they offer space at a very low cost.

The idea of setting up a second-hand product shop came about by joining the two needs, on the one hand women can sell in the market without the need for permits and infrastructure and on the other the Gambians who live in Catalonia offer us the ability to transport material to a lot low cost.

Through a campaign the collection of donated clothes has already begun, the idea is to carry out campaigns to collect second-hand material to be sent to widows to sell.

The women's cooperative has expanded its warehouse for soap making and mango drying and can give one of the rooms to the widows to store the material.
