POULTRY FARM MANAGED BY WOMEN

 

During the meetings held with the women of the cooperative, the conclusion was reached and they expressed their desire to set up a chicken farm.

KORBIS AGRI will make the first investment and from there they will manage the project.

It would start with the purchase of 300 hens for fattening and 200 layers.

With the profits they would expand until reaching 1000 chickens.

There will be a training course taught by a local veterinarian.

The facilities that KORBIS AGRI already has will be fixed and a refrigerator will be bought to be able to keep the meat once the chickens have been slaughtered and cleaned.

After the Crowdfunding Campaign launched in the summer of 2019, the €980 collected was sent to the women of the cooperative who had already made the necessary purchases to start the business.

The chicks have already grown, and they have already started to be sold and stored in the freezer that was bought to distribute the sales over time and to be able to make the project self-sustainable, buying the feed and raising the hens for always have chickens to sell.
